1950’s Stole – Decades of Style #5006
Here is another vintage pattern from the early 1950s that could easily be a staple in anyone’s wardrobe. It is a wide stole with a sleeve on the right side. The back of the stole wraps over the shoulder to the front where a flap conceals an opening for the left hand. Fully lined.
This pattern would make a perfect evening wrap out of a burn-out velvet or a casual cover up out of linen or a cozy knit.
Recommended fabrics include light to medium weight fabrics with a soft drape: linen, wool, rayon, silk, cotton, satin, crepe, velvet, also knit fabrics.
