This viscose chiffon is very lightweight with a crinkle texture. It has a soft, floaty drape and would make beautiful, blouses, dresses, skirts, scarves, and more. It is sheer, so you may prefer to add a lining depending on your garment. This fabric is deadstock from local brand Amour Vert.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
