This vintage pattern from 1931 is Decades of Style’s tribute to all the wonderful Hollywood actresses of the 1930s and to their even more wonderful wardrobes. We can imagine quite a few of them wearing this elegant blouse. The best part is that you don’t have to imagine it; you can make it!
The cowl yoke is cut on the bias and can be made from a contrasting fabric. The set in sleeve has two options; long and slim, or, long and pieced with fullness gathered into a wristband. Side zipper opening. Choice of hip-length peplum or knee length tunic. 2” of ease at the waist and 4” of ease at the bust. A self fabric tie belt is optional.

Fabric Recommendations: Soft— light to medium weight fabrics. Rayon, silk, linen, challis even soft wools. Beware of directional prints, plaids and stripes because of the bias cut of the cowl.
