Introducing Indian Block Prints: Cottage, the first collection of block prints created by artisans in India for Fableism Supply Co. The traditional Indian motifs have been recolored in the Fableism palette for an updated reimagining of classic styles. The soft hand of the 100% cotton fabric has a vintage lived in look perfect for quilts (low fray!), home decor (hello, curtains!), and apparel (dresses, please!).
These block-printed fabrics are created by carving a design into a wooden block, dipping it into dye, and stamping the block on plain fabric. This method is repeated for each color of the print. Due to the detailed artisanal work of this handcraft, there are slight variations in the print.
