The Dew Top/Dress is a simple cowl neck style with big impact! The pattern includes a dress view with a shaped hem, roomy pockets, and a comfortable fit. The top features a subtle high-low hem and a line silhouette. The pockets on the dress are sewn flat to the front for maximum carrying capacity without added bulk. The fit is loose without being baggy. This is a comfortable style that sews up quickly! You’ll want to make this fun pattern over and over again!
Yardage Requirements: 1 yards to 3.5 yards. Please see chart for more details.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Size Range: XS to 7X (drafted for a 34″ to 63″ bust). Please see chart for more details.
Fabric Recommendations: The Dew is designed for knit fabrics. You will need a fabric with at least 25% crosswise stretch. It looks great in jerseys, rib knits, ponte knits, scuba, and more! If you are sewing the dress version, a fabric with a bit of body will hold the shape of the hem nicely.
Notions: Matching thread, stretch sewing machine needle. OPTIONAL: Walking foot (a walking foot on your sewing machine can make it easier to sew with slippery knits).
