New York Designer Deadstock – Wool Challis – Autumn Patchwork

This wonderful wool challis has a soft hand with a gentle, airy drape. It is slightly sheer, so a lining may be desired depending on the project. This fabric would be beautiful for a lined dress, light sweater, shirt, or scarf.

Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
