This lightweight yarn dyed linen has a wonderfully soft hand and beautiful drape. It is woven with subtle slubs, giving the color more dimension. It is sheer, so you may prefer a lining depending on your garment. This fabric would make beautiful tops, lined dresses and skirts, and more.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
Content: 100% linen
Width: 56″
Weight: 2.5 oz per square yard / 85 GSM
Care Instructions: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. To make linen wrinkle less, follow these instructions from Sandra Betzina: Before washing, iron the fabric with the hottest, driest iron possible. Machine wash in hot water and tumble dry on high heat. Remove only when completely dry. This method will result in shrinkage, but small, soft folds will replace the hard creases usually associated with linen.
