This lightweight cotton/polyester blend is cross dyed and has a woven dobby pattern. This fabric is slightly sheer so it may require a lining, depending on your garment. It has a crisp hand and soft drape, and would be perfect to make beautiful tops, dresses, skirts, and more. Please note, there are darker purple spots throughout the bolt, so your piece might include some of these flaws. See photos for reference.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
