This cotton block print is a beautiful lightweight crisp fabric with a dimpled texture. Block printing is the process of hand carving a pattern into wood dipping this block in ink and repeatedly stamping fabric with this block. Due to the detailed artisanal work of this handcraft there are slight variations in the print. This fabric is perfect for garments, such as blouses, dresses, and scarves, and makes gorgeous curtains. It is often sheer, so dresses and skirts made in cotton voile may require a lining. Cotton voile also works well as a lining for other garments.
