Italian Designer Deadstock – Cotton Sateen – Watercolor Monstera

This Italian deadstock cotton features a large scale print and is a lightweight sateen. It has a soft hand and drape with a subtle sheen. It works well for blouses, button-up shirts, dresses and skirts. This fabric may need a lining depending on the garment.

Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
