Japanese Gingham Cotton Lawn – Tiger

This lightweight and finely woven cotton gingham has a soft hand. It is opaque and would make great blouses, shirts, dresses, skirts, light pants, pajamas, and more. This fabric is deadstock from local designer Eight + Sand.

Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
