This detailed motif has been hand-printed on a beautiful, lightweight, airy, and slightly-sheer cotton fabric. This fabric would be great for blouses, dresses, scarves, and gorgeous curtains. It features a light tan base cloth printed with red ink.
These block-printed fabrics are created by carving a design into a wooden block, dipping it into wax, and stamping the block on plain white fabric. When the fabric is dyed, the detailed stamped motif is revealed! Due to the detailed artisanal work of this handcraft there are slight variations in the print.
