Fabric Recommendations: Only stretch fabrics are suitable for this pattern. These can be knitted fabrics (tricot) such as jersey, French terry, punta di roma etc, or woven fabrics provided they are very elastic (at least 20%). Woven fabrics without elasticity are not suitable for this pattern. The pattern doesn’t have a lot of negative ease, allowing you to use fabrics with a relatively low stretch percentage of 20 to 30%. If your fabric stretches more than that, Notches recommend making a size smaller for a nicely fitting garment.
Notions: 7/8 yard of 7/8″ wide elastic bias ribbon, 1 5/8 yards of 3/8″ wide clear elastic.
