Stretch velvet is a knit fabric with a short, dense pile, giving it a soft hand and napped texture. This fabric has a soft hand, a slinky drape, and is fully opaque. It works well for knit projects, such as dresses, skirts, t-shirts, and leggings.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
