This plush underwire casing is our preferred channeling – it is thick and soft and dyes like a dream come true. The casing is easy to apply; just stitch the edge of the channel to the seamline of the cup with a straight stitch. Then insert the wire inside the channeling and stitch across the end to seal the wire inside. Pre-pressing the channel in a slight curve will help it conform to the curve of the underwire line. This underwire casing can be used for underwire insertion, but is also useful to insert narrow bones as side support in a bra, waist cincher, or garter belts.
