Balka is a kaftan-style dress or blouse with a button placket. The sleeves are attached to the shoulder with abundant gathers and an elasticated hem. The skirt features numerous gathers at the waist and side seam pockets. This pattern can be used to make a long dress or blouse and requires lightweight woven fabric.
