The Ozark Vest is a casual urban vest, perfect for transitional weather over a sweater or hoodie. The Ozark has big patch pockets on the outside as well as an inside pocket. The collar is cut in rib material, and the vest is closed with a heavy metal zipper.
Fabric and notions:
Make your Ozark Vest with heavy woven fabric like flannel, twill, or canvas for the outside layer. Use quilted nylon or fleece for the lining (or quilt your lining yourself!) and a knit rib for the collar. You will also need iron-on interfacing and a separating metal zipper (see pattern measurements for zipper length for each size).
