Cotton double-gauze is the fabric you’ll want to be wearing this spring and summer! It’s easy to sew and incredibly comfortable to wear—super-soft, lightweight, and breathable. Double-gauze is made from two sheer, airy layers of cotton gauze that are tacked together, creating a fabric that’s still lightweight and nicely opaque. It’s the perfect choice for warm-weather garments like tops, dresses, lounge pants, and much more!

Because our cotton double-gauzes come from a few different sources, there is a nice variety of textures in our collection! A smooth double-gauze is a nice pairing with a top like the Endless Summer Shirt. Choose a double-gauze with a bit of a crinkle to make a Nicks Dress with lots of texture and drape. Your choice of fabric can give a simple garment like the Sauvie Sundress a very different look—a smooth double-gauze will give it a more polished look, while a crinkly double-gauze will look casual and relaxed.
