Because of its lightweight warmth, flannel is great for pajamas, button-up shirts, jacket linings, and more! If you’re brand new to garment sewing, flannel is a wonderful place to start—it’s stable and easy to sew, and is a fantastic match for many of our favorite beginner sewing patterns. What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we talk about flannel? It’s so very cozy! It’s a great choice for pajamas and loungewear, especially so this time of year. If you’re currently enjoying a lazy winter break, think about how comfy it could be in cozy flannel—it’s a great pairing with patterns like the Loungewear Robe, the Unisex Pajama Pants, or a set of Fran Pajamas.
