As we approach winter solstice and the holidays, we are so thankful for the ongoing dedication of our team and our community at Stonemountain & Daughter Fabrics. We are grateful for the many ways in which you, the members of our sewing community, have shown up this year—amplifying our core value of connection through creativity and fabric.

- We were named Best Fabric Store by The East Bay Express!
- We pulled out all the stops to open some brand new (and revisit some really old) paths to source unique fabrics for our creative customers! This was quite the accomplishment, since garment fabric manufacturing in Italy—a market we depend on for our unique and highest-quality deadstock and other fabrics—experienced an alarming slowdown from 2021 to 2022.
- We worked closely with our sewing class affiliates around the country, strengthening our shared vision of making connections across the sewing community through our love of fabric.
- We deepened our commitment to building a vast collection of deadstock fabrics across all categories of garment fabrics. These lower-impact textiles are hand-selected from top designers from around the world. We guarantee that you will love sewing with these gorgeous, exclusive, top-quality cottons, linens, rayons, silks, wools, polyesters, and various blends in both knits and wovens.
- Our inventory has never been greater across all categories!
- We have 6,000+ bolts of fabric, including:
- 2,000+ bolts of quilting cottons
- 4,000+ bolts of fashion fabrics
- Plus hundreds of top-quality notions, accessories, and indie patterns—we are the land of choice!
- We will be launching our updated website in early 2024! Our updated site is the result of lots of customer feedback, and we think you will be delighted with the new and improved shopping experience! As always, the site will be full of a vast array of amazing fabrics sourced worldwide.
- We ship to all U.S. states and territories, and we love seeing how far our fabric travels!
- Our marketing team has put so much thought into our newsletters and Instagram posts; we love bringing the latest and most inspiring sewing and fabric ideas to you.
- Our Downtown Berkeley store recently celebrated 42 consecutive years of service; this father-daughter story has even more chapters to come!
