Cotton poplin is lighter weight than quilting cotton, but heavier than lawn or voile. It works well on its own in shirts, blouses, lined dresses and more, but also can be used as a lining. This fabric has a soft brushed flannel-like feel to it.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
