This light/medium-weight jersey is made from a wool/spandex blend. Wool is breathable, moisture-wicking, and odor-resistant, and is paired with spandex for great stretch recovery. This fabric has a fairly soft hand, but if you’re sensitive to wool, you may not want to wear it directly against your skin. It is semi sheer, especially when stretched, and has a gentle drape. It is perfect for t-shirts, tank tops, base layers for hiking and camping, and lightweight sweaters.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
