This deadstock cotton/spandex is a double-knit, made of two very fine layers of jersey knit together. This means there is no wrong side to this fabric, and it is more opaque and stable than a typical jersey. This fabric has a soft, silky hand with a fluid drape. It is perfect for tank tops, tees, dresses, drapey cardigans, and more.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
