This midweight deadstock wool coating has a beautiful drape, as well as a slightly fuzzy texture. The plaid pattern features a heathered grey background with cream stripes. If you are sensitive to wool’s texture, you may prefer to add a lining to garments that directly touch the skin. This fabric is opaque and would be perfect for coats, blazers, and jackets.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
