This lightweight yarn-dyed linen has a crisp hand with a beautiful, structured drape that will soften with washing. It is fairly sheer, so you may prefer to add a lining depending on your garment. This fabric is perfect for curtains, as well as for garments like tops, lined skirts and dresses, and more.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
Content: 100% linen
Width: 60″
Weight: 3.54 oz per square yard / 120 GSM
Care Instructions: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. To make linen wrinkle less, follow these instructions from Sandra Betzina: Before washing, iron the fabric with the hottest, driest iron possible. Machine wash in hot water and tumble dry on high heat. Remove only when completely dry. This method will result in shrinkage, but small, soft folds will replace the hard creases usually associated with linen.
