This deadstock cotton poplin is lighter weight than quilting cotton, but heavier than lawn or voile. It has a soft hand and a crisp drape. This fabric is mostly opaque and would work well for shirts, blouses, lined dresses, and more.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
