Mettler’s Seraflex® thread is a highly elastic and versatile thread, and is perfect for sewing any knit garment on your home sewing machine! It is meant to be sewn with a straight stitch, with the thread tension set as loose as possible. It should be used as both the needle and bobbin thread, with the bobbin wound with as little tension as possible to prevent the thread from stretching before sewing. Seraflex® and can stretch up to 65% along the seam (50% more than conventional thread). Use this thread for sewing leggings, lingerie, sportswear, sweatshirts, and more.
