This unique, cotton-blend novelty stretch denim is a woven fabric with some qualities that make it act like a knit. It has a very soft hand and drape with great stretch and recovery. It has a softer feel than regular denim due to its polyester content, and has more pronounced floats on the back than a typical twill weave. This fabric is fully opaque, and would be perfect for all kinds of stretchy, structured garments—think pants, jackets, skirts, dresses, tops, and more.
Wondering what “deadstock” means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and it’s a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
